Seahawks Go 3-0

The Seattle Seahawks beat the Dallas Cowboys
in a wild game 38-31. Second win a row where
it came down to the end of the game.

Interesting both teams threw the ball a lot more
than running the ball when they each have a
good running back to depend on.

The answer is neither team is good when it
comes to stopping the other team in the passing
game. The Seahawks passed the ball 40 times
compared to 26 times running the ball. The
Seahawks usually want to running the ball
a little more often than passing but there days
where this will happen instead.

The Cowboys passed the ball 57 times compared
to running the ball 21 times.

The Cowboys scored first with a field goal then
Tyler Lockett got his first of three touchdowns
then the Seahawks recorded a safety followed
by a touchdown by Ezekiel Elliott leaving the
score 9-9  since the Cowboys missed the extra
point.

Lockett score the other two touchdowns in the
second quarter. The Seahawks would have had
another touchdown in the first half when it looked
like DK Metcalf was going to score but he was
a little lazy and the ball was knocked out and went
through the end zone giving the ball back to the
Cowboys.

Cedrick Wilson scored his first touchdown between
Lockett's two for the Cowboys. His first on the season
for the Cowboys. The Seahawks lead 23-15 at half time.

Tight end Jacob Hollister coming out of the backfield
scored a touchdown in the third quarter  but  Cedrick
Wilson scored again making it Seattle 30 Dallas 22
at the end of the third quarter.

Michael Gallup caught a touchdown for the Cowboys
but they missed another extra point in the fourth quarter
then kicked a field goal giving the Cowboys the lead
again 31-30.

DK Metcalf caught a touchdown just under two minutes
remaining in the game then the wild finish happened.

The game ended when defensive back Ryan Neal who
was activated off the practice squad intercepted a pass
to secure the win for the Seahawks. The Seahawks put
on pressure on qb Prescott who ended up throwing a
desperation pass into the end zone. That was it.

Next week the Seahawks will play the Dolphins in
Miami. We hope it will be an easier victory next
Sunday for the them. Several injuries happened
during the game so we hope the players will feel
better next week.

The Arizona Cardinals and the LA Rams both lost
so the Seahawks are a game up on all three of their
division opponents.  More we check on Wednesday.
