Seahawks Monday

The Seahawks have one more preseason
game remaining this coming Saturday .
The game will be at 10 am Pacific time.

The Seahawks  may go undefeated
in the preseason. Besides seeing
the players who make the team we will
see the Green  Bay  Packers now
without Aaron Rodgers which is
sort of weird.

The regular season  the Seahawks
start off with three games they
should win against LA Rams  at home
followed by the Detroit  Lions
on the road and Carolina Panthers
at home.

Starts to get a bit tougher after that.
Playing the Giants and Bengals on the road.
I could see the Seahawks winning ten games
however they have to  beat the Rams
and Cardinals twice. Also split the 49ers.

For the Seahawks  to win 11 games they
will have to have an upset. This would be
on the road. Beating either the  Giants
or the Bengals will help. If somehow they
won both of those games they will have
very good season.

Watching the final preseason  will give us
a better idea of the Seahawks. The first
half may show most of the starters. The
second half those who are trying to make
the opening roster. Of the new guys we
have our favorites to make the roster.

Unless he falls flat on his face or gets
hurt undrafted free agent wide receiver
Jake Bobo will likely  make the team.
The Seahawks likely  will  go with six
wide receivers. So who will be the other
two who makes the backups besides
Bobo.

Will Kenny Walker play on Saturday.  If not
does that mean he is not a go when the
season  begins. We will find out.

Just like wide receiver  the Seahawks will
likely  go with six cornerbacks. Safety
might be four  or five. At this point Jamal
Adams may not start on the opening roster.
Inside Linebacker go with four or five. The
edge rusher which is outside linebacker/
defensive end could be five. The defensive
tackles go for four or five.

The offensive line the Seahawks  may go
with nine or ten. All depends whether the
ninth and tenth can play either tackle or
guard. Though they are not high draft  picks
someone  who can play tackle and guard
is valuable to take the last spot. This depends
how good the second stringers are.

The Seahawks  likely  will go with three tight ends
once again. Being run first is a good reason and
all three can catch the ball to.

With the offense  you have the quarterback and
running back. Five offensive linemen  which
makes seven. Three wide receivers and a tight
end to make eleven. At some point may take
out one of the three wide receivers and add
another tight end.  Going with three tight ends
in the game means one receiver.  May happen
occasionally but likely  not  often. Could see
when the Seahawks  want to run the ball on
short yardage. They could mix it up by throwing
to one of the tight ends.

On defense  they will go with two defensive
tackles, two inside linebackers and two edge
rushers. This means five defensive  backs.

They will start getting the opening roster next
Sunday or Monday. They cut down to 52
doesn't  mean  it won't  change before the
Rams game. The Seahawks  can see who
is open on the market and put players on
the practice squad  as well as injured reserve.
Go Hawks!
