Now that the Mariners are 16 days from
the regular season beginning they have
sent several players to the minor leagues
and put Jose Siri on waivers. He was
picked up by the San Francisco Giants.
Braden Bishop competing for an outfield
spot was sent to Tacoma while Julio
Rodrigues was outrighted.
Dylan Moore was hit in the right wrist
in Tuesday's game. It didn't look good.
So he could be out for a little while.
Carlos Gonzales could end up making
the team; however, utility player Tim
Lopes could make the team as the 4th
outfielder we will see.
Dee Gordon will be the utility player
so this would be why Lopes be listed
as an outfielder though he could play
in the infield as well.
Jarred Kelenic is still in camp but
likely will be sent down at some
point. We should expect to see him
sometime during the season. We
could say the same for pitcher Logan
Gilbert who has pitched well during
spring training.
I write about local sports however, you can view another of my blogs which I write about life at http://lookatlifepurpose.com
