Huskies Lose By Two Touchdowns

The Washington Huskies lost again on the road this time to undefeated Indiana
31-17.

The Huskies didn't have an excuse
as they had a bye week before this game. Obviously they have done
poorly on the road although Indiana
I'd s good team. Overall again the
Huskies had more yardage than the
Hoosiers though not much. The
fact was the Hoosiers had the ball
longer though by three minutes.

Will Roger gave up two interceptions
and the first score with 7:41 minutes
in the first quarter. The second one
happened in the second quarter which also led to a touchdown. The Hoosiers
scored on a 42 yard pass to Omar
Cooper Jr.. Three minutes later Giles
Jackson scored on 6 yard run for the
Huskies making it 14-7. The Hoosiers
kicked a field goal with no time left
on the clock to end the half 17-7.

Freshman quarterback Desmond Williams Jr. fan for a 8 yard run
to put the Huskies down by only
three points. About five minutes
left in the third quarter Justice
Ellison had a touchdown to put
Indiana up by ten 24-14. The end
of the third. quarter.

The Hoosiers were able to get
another touchdown at 8:55 remain
in the game. The Huskies kicked
a field with 6:06 remaining in the
game. They couldn't do anything
more.

Jonah Coleman had 19 carries on
the day for 104 yards. Not a bad day
at 5.5 yards per carry. Unfortunately
he couldn't score. The Huskies
caught 19 balls on the day too.
Next week the Huskies will back
back home for a late afternoon
game against the USC Trojans.
Go Dawgs!
