and the Huskies square off at Husky
Stadium. This will be the 88th meeting
between the two teams. For a while
the Trojans dominated the series
when they were one if the top teams
in the country and were winning
multiple conference titles.
Both teams have identical records
at 4-4 with Huskies winning all at
home and losing on the road. The
only difference is the Trojans lost
all on the road except one early
on the season. The only loss at
home for the Trojans was 33-30
against Penn State. The Huskies
have won 18 in a row at home which
is a good sign.
The Trojans and the Huskies have
split the last ten games. Last year's
match up was big and Huskies won
52-42. Both teams are going with new
quarterbacks. The Huskies will be
favored however this should be a
close and tough game. The Trojans
will want to spoil the Huskies run
at home.
The Huskies are tied with Nebraska
and Michigan for tenth place in the
Big Ten with a 2-3 record. The Trojans
are right behind with 2-4 record in the.
conference. Indiana and Oregon
are tied with 5-0 conference records
while being undefeated overall. The
two teams don't play each other in
the regular season so could square
off in the conference championship
game. Indiana does face Ohio State
on November 23. Oregon already beat
Ohio State 32-31 on October 12. Oregon
faces Michigan this Saturday.
The Huskies face Oregon to end
the season on the road. Go Dawgs!
