Although the
Seahawks lost last Sunday in a great and exciting game 33-31 to the Rams in
Seattle they have arrived in London to take on the Oakland Raiders this coming
Sunday.
This should
be an interesting game since this will be a long journey for both teams. How
jet lag will effect both teams we won’t the game is being played. The Seahawks
and Raiders basically flew the same distance one won’t have an advantage over
the other.
It will be
interesting as well since teams usually don’t play each other on neutral field
unless it is in the Super Bowl. Probably have no advantage to either team.
I have some
high school classmates going to the game. They are already in London seeing the
sites before the game. They are looking to see each other before the game. Be
interesting to find out how they see the game in person.
Since the
Seahawks have done well running the ball the last three games I am sure they
will do the same in this game too. The more success running the ball will open
things up for the passing game as well. Like to see Russell Wilson get the ball
to Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett; last week David Moore caught his first two
touchdowns of his career. It would be nice to see him catch another one in
London too.
I am sure
many Seahawk fans are looking forward to seeing Marshawn Lynch play as well. It
would be good to see him run some plays like he did with the Hawks without
scoring any touchdowns for sure. Also the defense stuff him a few times as well.
Enjoy the
game whether in person or on television. I hope it is one that will be
memorable for years to come. Go Hawks!
