Mariners Couldn't Do Moore

Dylan Moore was the Mariners

player of the game for them.

He lead off the game with a

home run and another one

as well to put them ahead twice.

The trouble was starting pitcher

pitcher Luis Castillo who return

to  Cincinnati for the first time

couldn't keep the leads.

The Reds were able to tie

the Mariners after Moore's

first home run and take the

lead after the second one.

So the Reds were able score

five  runs when Castillo left

the game in the fifth inning

with two outs. The Reds were

able to add on three more

while the Mariners couldn't

add anymore. Final Red 8 M's 4.

It did look with Dylan's job

early the Mariners had a 

great chance to win however

it wasn't meant to be.

Not only is it important to

win the first game of a series

it is even more important to

win the first game of a road

trip. We just hope that the

Mariners do much better and

at the end of the road trip it 

was just a hick up.

Third baseman Ben Williamson

who made his first major league

game start got a hit and scored

a run. During that time his family

made their way to Cincinnati.

Though the Mariners lost Ben's

family were still excited. Some

close friends were there as well.

Ben actually was able to get

contact on 19 pitches in all.

If he can continue to show it

he will have a good major league

career. 

Bryce Miller starts on Wednesday.
