embarrassing to the players and
the coaches of the Huskies losing
to the Cougars 40-13.
It isn't the losing to the Cougars
it is how they lost. They came out
almost like the first game of the
season against Montana where
there was no life to the team.
The defense who had a good
season were not any better than
the offense. Sam Huard started
the game and at times looked
like the part he will be a good
college quarterback. He threw
four interceptions as well.
The Cougars had the ball over
forty minutes of the game which
makes it a real embarrassment.
The Cougars are a good team
and likely would have won the
game no matter what but for
the Huskies to look like they
wanted to stay home was not
the way to go.
The coaches might have been
their last coaching at UW but
they should have put in a better
effort. I wouldn't blame players
who would want to transfer to
another school or the incoming
freshman would decide to
decommit.
The Huskie looked like the
terrible team they were all
season long. The defense who
were the only good part of the
season should at least showed
up. Losing to the Cougars
wasn't the story it was how
they lost.
Now we hope Oregon State
Beavers can beat the Oregon
Ducks so the Cougars can play
Utah for Pac-12 championship.
At least that is something the
state of Washington can be proud
of.
The Huskies came out the
beginning of the season without
a care in the world against Montana
and ended it the same way.
Best to those who are seniors
who came back for one additional
season. Thank you for the football
you played. To be honest you
were shafted this year. Go Dawgs!
