Saturday afternoon 67-64.
Like theyv have all season long they play
inconsistent ball offensively. They won
the game with their defense causing
Stanford to turn the ball over 21 times.
Jamal Bey had an outstanding first half
scoring all his season high 17 points.
Bey is frustrating to watch since he never
plays the game all out offensively. He
disappears. Why he can't stop shooting
when he is hitting well is anyone's guess.
My opinion the coaching staff need to
get on his case or maybe they do and he
doesn't listen.
The last ten minutes of the game the
Huskies didn't score a single field goal.
Without a large lead in the first half
they would have lost. Have to give
Stanford defense some credit as well.
Next Thursday and Sunday the Huskies
will be in Oregon to play the Beavers and
Ducks. Won't be easy for them. Have to
play their A game.
The Washington State Cougars beat
California Golden Bears 65-57. Sophomore
Andrej Janimovski came off the bench
scoring 17 points including four three-pointers.
The rest of the team made only two of 15
behind the 3-point line on the night.
The Cougars are now 3-3 in pac-12
eight place behind Washington and
Stanford at 3-2. They to will the Oregon
schools next week.
Gonzaga continues winning beating BYU
Thursday night 110-84 and Santa Clara
Saturday 115-83. They only play one
game this coming week on Thursday
at Pacific.
The best to all three teams coming up.
