Washington Huskies Men Lose

Really seems like the Washington Huskies
haven't played basketball ball in a while.
I have to say it is true. They lost another
game to  covid against Washington State
Cougars.

On Monday night they played the Wildcats
on their court in Tucson Arizona. The
Wildcats won as expected.  It was a
shoot out as the final score was 95-79.

The Huskies were in the game for a good
part though they never led for most of the
game. The Huskies were within five points
at the eight minute mark left in the game.
Like often  the Huskies  can't overcome
their shooting woes.

Terrell Brown the Huskies  leading scorer
and one of the top six scorers in the country
was the leading scorer in the game with 28
points along with eight rebounds.

Emitt Mathews Jr had 16 points with four
three-pointers in the game. Most of those
kept the Huskies in the game when the
Wildcats could have  blown the game early.
PJ Fuller  had 11 points as well.

The Huskies next game will be on Thursday
in Utah against the Utes. The Utes are 1-3
in the Pac-12 while this was Washington's
first game and loss. The Utes lost to Oregon
on New Year's Day  79-66. The Utes only
win in Pac-12 was back on December 5th
at home against California Golden Bears.
They have lost three straight so we will
see what happens. Go Dawgs!
