Penny Ends Season On High Note

The Seattle Seahawks beat  the Cardinals in
Arizona 38-30. Rashaad Penny had another
great game rushing for 190 yards on 23 carries.

Penny had a 60 yard touchdown in the 4th
quarter to almost seal the win. The Cardinals
had the ball in the red zone under two minutes
remaining in the game.  This was after getting
the ball around six and half minutes left in the
game. The Seahawks who have done well
stopping teams in the  red zone did so again.

The Cardinals  were down by 11 points  so they
needed to  score twice so kicked a field goal
and tried onside kick. Jordyn  Brooks who had
a great day with a team record 20 tackles caught
the onside kick for the Seahawks. Rashaad Penny
ran the ball several  times  to run out the clock.

Russell Wilson  went 15 for 26 passes, 238 yards
and three touchdowns. Tyler Lockett  had two of
the touchdowns in five catches and 98 yards.
DK Metcalf  had  a  touchdown  pass as well. He
to had five catches on the  day.

Always  seems  a Seahawk gets hurt badly when
they play in Arizona. Sunday was no different.
Safety Quandre Diggs had a dislocated ankle along
with a broken  fibula. Diggs is staying in Arizona to
have surgery. Diggs is expected to be a free agent
and signed  to a big contract makes us wonder the
injuries will effect it. The Seahawks  hoping to keep
him around. Most likely  try to sign in but at a lower
amount with incentives.

In men's basketball the Washington  Huskies  were
unable to match Thursday's  night win at Utah. They
got far behind once again  but not able to turn things
around losing to Colorado 78-64. Cole Bajema had
another great  game in a row this time  leading  the
Huskies with 18 points. Bajema keeps  this up the
Huskies  should end up with  a  good  season.
