I guess every team is going to have a lousy game at some point in the season. Well, Sunday was the day for the Seahawks.
Russell Wilson had a bad day throwing including giving up a touchdown to former Husky Marcus Peters. It was his first interception giving up on the season. It was bound to happen but it would have been nice to occur when the Seahawks had a big lead.
We could see right away that Wilson was having an off day. It would have been nice if the Seahawks could have run the ball more; however, they weren't successful in that part of the game either.
Before I forget the final score was Baltimore 30 Seattle 16. DK Metcalf had a catch than a fumble in the fourth quarter that gave the Ravens a second touchdown. Take away the two turnovers it would have been an interesting game. The Seahawks may have won the game even if it took a field goal to do so.
The San Francisco 49ers continued to go undefeated beating the Redskins in Washington D.C. 9-0. So the Seahawks are two games behind the 49ers while still being a game ahead of the Los Angeles Rams.
The Seahawks to win the NFC West they will need to beat the 49ers in the two games against them. The Seahawks still have a good chance to make the playoffs now with a record of 5-2, but can't afford another loss like this one. We hope Russell Wilson is able to bounce back next week against the Falcons in Atlanta. Go Hawks!
