Mariners Offense Comes Alive

The Seattle Mariners showed what
their offense might be capable of
by beating the Cincinnati Reds 17-6

The Mariners scored three runs in the
first inning. Third inning was the most
productive having seven runs. Fifteen
of the runs were in the first four innings

Sam Haggerty had the first home run
for the Mariners in the second inning
then had a triple as well. Sam played
shortstop. Looks like he will be Crawford's
backup until Dylan Moore is back.

Tommy LA Stella played first base and
had a hit. Looks like he has made the
club.

Julio Rodriguez had three hits with
two doubles and a home run. Tom
Murphy and Jarred Kelenic were both
back in the lineup even though the
Mariners were facing a lefty. I have
the feeling Kelenic be in the lineup
against some lefties depending on
how he is doing. If that is the case
AJ Pollock will dh like he did in this
one.

Friday game is at night with Luis Castillo
going against the Oakland A's. This will
be his last tuneup before opening day.
The game will be on Roots Sports. Hopefully another offense outing.
