Seahawks Tuesday

The Seattle Mariners  have Tuesday

off. The last day off of spring training

as far as games go. George Kirby

will make his last start of camp on

Wednesday. 

Monday evening the Seahawks released

defensive tackle All Woods. This means

three defensive tackles from last season

are gone. Pona Ford is a free agent so

don't know if the Seahawks will resign

him or not. Bryan Mone is recovering

from ACL. 

The Seahawks brought back defensive 

tackle Jarran Reed who played on the

Kansas City Chiefs signing as a free

agent. Also signed free agent Dre'Mont

Jones to a three year contract. 

This means the Seahawks will probably

draft a defensive tackle this year. Whether

in the first round or wait until the second

or third. 

There was word out the Seahawks may 

trade the number five all around pick to

Washington. In return they would get 

their first rounder, another draft pick

and next year's first round pick. See

if that or another trade happens.

I thought the Seahawks would draft a

defensive tackle in the first round. Now

I am not sure. We see who else the

Seahawks may sign as free agents 

and any more releases.  Go Hawks!
