Since spring training was cut short about
two months ago I haven't said a whole
lot about the Mariners. Not a lot of news
has come out.
There is thought spring training could
resume in June and the regular season
in early July.
If this does happen they may have around
81 games. Salaries of players have to be
decided as well.
Staff are taking a 20 percent cut so no one
has to be furloughed like many do in other
industries.
Most likely no baseball at T-Mobile Park
at least with no fans anyway.
All games would be played within their division
plus inner-league play. The Mariners would play
against the National League West.
They have talked to going to three divisions
which would include the teams in the national
west along with the American League West for
the West division.
Whatever the case I am sure everyone is
waiting for live baseball even if they can't
go to the games in person themselves.
We will see let the good times roll.
I write about local sports however, you can view another of my blogs which I write about life at http://lookatlifepurpose.com
