I decided not to wait until Seahawk Wednesday
to say anything. I figured since there isn't a lot
sports going on right now I had to post something.
The Seattle Seahawks drafted two defensive ends
last week. They brought back Bruce Irvin recently
as well. None of the three will be playing every
down either. It will be a rotation among the
defensive ends. Also, we can include the defensive
tackles as well.
I am sure the rotation will those who are best
against the run and those best against the pass.
The Seahawks we know were near the bottom
in sacks while the same goes against the run.
So we can see improvement in both areas.
At this time period we still don't know whether
Clowney will return or not. There has been talk
he will sign with Cleveland or Tennessee.
The Seahawks haven't wanted to pay Clowney
what he asked for initially. The price has gone
down whether he signs with the Seahawks or
not unless a team decides yes we will pay
Clowney what he wants.
We know Clowney has a big heart playing at
the end of the year with injuries. He was
successful for the most part as well, however,
the Seahawks don't want to pay the high price
for someone who has been hurt. Understandable.
Of course, Clowney wants to get as much as
he can too. Understandable.
Whether Clowney comes back or not the
Seahawks do look like they have to go
for an experience defensive end to help
Irvin and the rookies out. We will see.
I write about local sports however, you can view another of my blogs which I write about life at http://lookatlifepurpose.com
