before the playoffs begin. They take on LA Rams
on Sunday then San Francisco 49ers to finish off
the season.
During the week Pete Carroll didn't care how the
fans felt about the game against Washington. That
is fine he has that right to feel that way.
He mentioned how the running game they averaged
seven yards a carry. My question then why did he
abandoned it in the 4th quarter.
Washington scored a touchdown early on in the 4th
quarter making it 20-9. Regardless how they ran the
ball the Seahawks would have taken more time off
the clock. Instead Russell Wilson threw the ball three
times in a row with the third one being intercepted.
Washington was able to score to make it 20-15.
Washington was able to stop Seahawks passing and
running game in the next series. The Seahawks defense
was able to preserve the win but we couldn't count
it actually happening. This could have down to being
a loss when it could have been prevented.
As I said the Seahawks didn't score in the drive where
the ball been run instead at least once if not twice even
the clock would have had more time taken off since
Washington would have had to drive the field further.
Well that game is over so now look at the LA Rams.
I am sure Pete Carroll will have a different game plan
for the Rams. I hope when the 4th quarter is under way
and the Seahawks have a ten point or two touchdown
lead Pete Carroll will have a different idea. If not the
Rams could win this game where Washington wasn't
able to.
I really like Pete Carroll but he hangs onto close games
even when it shouldn't happen. Russell Wilson or the
defense or whoever won't always bail them out. They
need to win this game and or the game against the 49ers.
The Seahawks need to be able to play at home though
this year is different without fans. Going on the road
won't guarantee a win. We all know if the Seahawks
don't make the Super Bowl this will be a disappointing
season. Though Pete Carroll will be back can't say the
same for some of the coaches well as the players.
For the Seahawks to win on Sunday they will have to
be sure to be more successful on third downs than they
have been in recent games. The offense line will have
to keep the Rams to stay away from Wilson and the
defense will have to step up once again. Go Hawks!
