playoffs. This week beating the LA Rams
20-9 they won the NFC West.
The game Sunday wasn't decided until last
three minutes of the game when tight end
Jacob Hollister caught a touchdown pass in
the end zone from Russell Wilson.
Again it wasn't the greatest offense by the
Seahawks though they got it done when
they needed.
I am not sure the defense was the greatest
either though they did allow the Rams to
score only three field goals. Other words,
they bend but did not break through the
game.
In those three occasions it did look like
the Rams could take the ball into the
end zone but the defense stopped the
Rams cold.
We can hope the Seahawks can do the
same in the playoffs while improving
the offense. I like the decision making
this week where they ran the ball when
it was very tempting just to pass the ball
with only a four point lead.
Had Hollister not caught the pass the
Seahawks would have had to settle for
a field goal meaning the Rams could tie
with a touchdown. Fortunately we didn't
have to worry about that. In fact, the
Seahawks were able to keep the Rams
at bay after the touchdown.
Next week the Seahawks will play the 49ers
in San Francisco. The meaning of the game
has to do with whether the Seahawks will
have playoff advantage or not. At least we
know they have the chance to go toward
getting to the Super Bowl again. Go Hawks!
