Eagles on Monday night 23-17.
The game was played well by both teams
defense as both offenses had trouble on
the night.
The Seahawks passing game especially
between Russell Wilson and receiver
DK Metcalf had a good night. Metcalf
caught 10 passes for 177 yards. Though
he didn't score a touchdown Metcalf
did set up for the Seahawks to score.
Russell Wilson ended up completing
22 of 31 passes for 230 yards and one
touchdown. The one touchdown to
David Moore allowed the Seahawks
to win.
The Seahawks defense allowed six
sacks on the night. It has been a long
time since the Seahawks were able to
sack the quarterback six times.
The Eagles passed for almost as many
yards as the Seahawks but had 15 more
throws but only completed three more.
Shaquill Griffin was back playing in
the defensive backfield for the first time
after missing four games. His presence
was felt for sure.
Chris Carson was back at running back
though he only carried the ball eight times
for 41 yards and did have a touchdown.
Carlos Hyde carried the ball more having
15 carries but only 22 yards. The Seahawks
running game seemed to be out of sync for
most of the night.
Both teams stats were about the same in
the game so showed how the defense played
well for both.
The Seahawks play the New York Giants
next Sunday afternoon at home. The Giants
are not a good offensive team so we should
see a good defense once again. We just hope
the Seahawks offense especially the running
game can get back into sync.
The Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles
Rams both lost on Sunday so the Seahawks
are back in first place all by themselves with
a 8-3 record. Go Hawks!
