There is talk about baseball starting up again
in mid-May. They may decide to play all
games in Arizona with all the players under
quarantine.
This does happen I am sure they will give
the players a choice whether to do so or not.
Though most players are pretty healthy
and young however there could be some
that have affects that could keep them
from playing.
I am sure this would be for major league
teams only while the minor leagues would
be still shut down until further notice.
I haven't heard anything of the sort though.
I wonder a team like the Mariners would
want a top prospect or two be on the roster
during this season so it wouldn't stop their
progress. Other words they could have
top prospect Jarred Kelenic on the roster
along with pitching prospect Logan Gilbert.
Both players were expect to make an
appearance sometime during the year.
Does this mean that teams would expand
the rosters to 28 players. I would say most
likely not however with the quarantine
anything is possible. Stay tuned.
I write about local sports however, you can view another of my blogs which I write about life at http://lookatlifepurpose.com
