The University of Washington Huskies second
freshmen expected to go to the NBA Jaden
McDaniels announced on Tuesday he was
leaving Washington for the NBA
Two weeks ago Isaiah Stewart announced
he was going to the NBA. Stewart was
the Huskies number one scorer and rebounder
at 17.0 points and 8.8 rebounds a game.
McDaniels was second at 13.0 in scoring
along with rebounding at 5.8 per game.
The Huskies have brought in a couple
of transfers to replace Stewart and
McDaniels but these guys will be
missed.
It was too bad that the Huskies
didn't have the season they expected
before the year began placing last
in the Pac12 conference.
The Huskies showed the talent but
couldn't finish other teams off late
in the games. We are hoping better
for next season though the talent
won't be as good. For the other
players a year of experience will
do them good.
We wish the best to McDaniels
and Stewart.
