Friday night the Seattle
Mariners and the Tigers had a rainout in Detroit. The teams are expected to
play a doubleheader on Saturday. It is raining in the morning however supposed
to clear off a couple hours before the first game is expected to start.
Earlier in the week there
was talk that Cano, Seager and Segura each would get a day off. No lineup showing
yet for the first game. It is possible that one of the guys will get off the
first game while another will get the second game off with one playing both
games of the doubleheader. Whoever plays the doubleheader may get Sunday off or
they may decide to give a day off on Monday against Minnesota. The three
players haven’t missed a game yet although Cano did play designated hitter one
time while Nelson Cruz was on the disabled list.
Marco Gonzales is expected
to pitch game one while Felix Hernandez is supposed to go in game two. I am
sure the Mariners are hoping that both pitchers can go at least six innings and
we hope that both games are not close where Edwin Diaz has to close out each
game. James Paxton is expected to pitch on Sunday for the Mariners.
On Monday I will be going
on vacation however I will hope to write here while I can depends on the
internet access that I can get. I am planning to write a journal and take
pictures on my web site while traveling up into British Columbia. You can visit

Go M’s.
