Washington Huskies Win the Battle

The Washington Huskies football team had
a terrible first half against the Utah Utes on
Saturday. Utah gave them all they could handle
winning both sides of the ball in the first half.

Utah led the game at half time 21-0. The Huskies
didn't give up shutting down the Utes in the second
half. The Huskies ended up winning scoring a
touchdown in their last drive of the game. Dylan
Morris hit his favorite receiver tight end Cade Otton
with a touchdown with 36 seconds in the game.

Morris threw three interceptions in the game. He
hadn't had an interception in the previous two games.
He didn't let it keep him down. According to head
coach Jimmy Lake in his post game conference
"you could see it in his eyes".

Now the Huskies are first place in the Pac-12
after Oregon was upset by Oregon State on
Friday night. The Huskies will face  the Ducks
in two weeks. Next week they are expected to
face Stanford.

In basketball the men's team is expected to play
Baylor in Las Vegas Sunday afternoon. After
having a series of three games cancelled at home
this last week the Huskies are looking forward
to take on Baylor.  Go Dawgs!
