Los Angeles Rams beat the Seahawks in
LA on Sunday Afternoon 23-16.
The Rams were able to stop the Seahawks
offense that has been scoring around 30
points a game despite injuries to the backfield.
The Seahawks offense had a total of 333 yards
on the day the second lowest of the season.
This was the first game of the season where
they scored less than twenty points in a game.
Alex Collins scored the Seahawks only touchdown
of the day. This was the first game where Russell
Wilson didn't throw a touchdown pass and had
two interceptions. Collins had the most carries
on the day for the Seahawks of eleven producing
43 yards. Wilson had the most yardage rushing
at 60.
Offensively the big deal kicker Jason Meyers
kicked a Seahawk record of 61 yards at the
end of the first half. In all he was 3 for 3 in
field goals.
The Seahawks did well on rushing defense where
the Rams had 103 yards on 29 carriers though
scored three touchdowns on the ground.
Quarterback Jared Goff had 302 yards passing
without throwing a touchdown. The Seahawks
still continue having problems leaving receivers
open.
The Seahawks play the Arizona Cardinals at home
on Thursday night football this week. We have to
see if the offense can improve once again after
having a poor week and the defense as well. At
least after that they have ten days off. We hope
this allow the Seahawks get healthy.
