Kyle Lewis ROY

I am not sure why there are several rookie
of the year awards other than we can see
who thinks of the crop of rookies out there.

It was nice the players and the media both
recognized Kyle Lewis as the American
League rookie of the year.

Not only was he rookie of the year he was
the Mariners best player for 2020. We hope
we have only seen the beginning of what
Kyle Lewis can do.

Kyle Lewis hitting got off to a hot start. He
dwindled in September but his defense was
still incredible.

Amazing to think Kyle Lewis would start
in right or left field but instead played the
most important outfield position in center
field.

Lewis showed us who will be in centerfield
for the Mariners for the next several seasons.
Jarred Kelenic likely will be in right or left
field and on occasion in center when Lewis
needs a breather. Julio Rodriguez will become
the right fielder when he arrives moving Kelenic
to left field. Not bad for a starting outfield.

The Mariners need a left fielder who sticks
around for more than a season or two. The
history of the Mariners the one position they
haven't been able to fill for a good period
of time. Go M's.
