time at home in Climate Pledge Arena.
I wasn't there but it certainly looked
lovely and the fans had a good time
though the home team lost in the end.
Vince Dunn scored the first goal in
the match for the Kraken over the
Vancouver Canucks at the end of
the first period. Canucks tied the
score in the second quarter.
The Kraken scored another goal
in the third period by captain Mark
Giordano to take the lead for a
while however the Canucks came
back to score three goals in the
third period to win.
The last goal for the Canucks was
under one minute as Kraken took
out their goalie to see if they could
score under two minutes. Of course
it backfired.
The Kraken still have to find a
way to close out games. At least
they are in the games but I am
sure everyone involved can't
wait for their next victory and
they will start closing out games
on a regular basis. We hope soon
right!.
The Kraken will take on the
famous NHL team the Montreal
Canadians on Tuesday night.
The Canadians have gotten off
to a rough start themselves on
the season. Saturday night
they had their first win of the
season beating the Detroit
Redwings 6-1.
The six goals for the Canadians
were more than had scored in
their previous five games. I guess
you could say this might be the
best time to play the Canadians
at home for their first home win
and second on the season.
We hope the team they will see
on Tuesday the Canadians will
be like the team in the first five
games and not the one that won
on Saturday. Go Kraken!
