Cardinals 6-l in the first game of the
series.
The game was scoreless until the
fifth inning when Randy Arozarena
hit a sacrifice fly to score Victory
Robles. In the sixth inning Dylan
Moore playing second base hit
a two-run homer. The only home
run the Mariners hit in the game.
In the seventh inning the Cardinals
scored their only home run of the
game. Cal Raleigh hit a double scoring
two runs in the ninth inning and Luke
Raley hit a single to score Cal.
Bryce Miller was the Mariners pitcher
of the game going six innings and
not giving up a run. He gave up three
hits and two walks in the game. The
Astros won as well so still have a four
and a half game lead with 20 games
remaining. Go Mariners!
