Washington Huskies Come From Behind

The Huskies beat city rival Seattle
Pacific 77-62. The Huskies though
had to overcome a 13 point deficit
In the first half.

They took a lead 41-40 in the second half and never trailed again. It is not
easy to have a good game against
a rival even one that you have never
lost too.

Forward Great Osobor and guard
DJ Davis expected to be the top
scorers for the most part on the
season each had 18 points. Osobor
led in rebounds with eight. Tyler
Harris came off the bench with 13.
Touted freshman Zoom Diallo had
eight points while starter Mekihi
Mason had night.

The Huskies took a lot more
free throws than the Falcons
however still struggling from
the line. Huskies made 17 of
32 free throws while the Falcons
went 9 out of 14. The Huskies
will need to improve if they expect
to win close games at the line.

The Huskies next game will be
on Sunday night at home against
UMass Lowell.  They are 2-0
and play at Gonzaga Friday night.
Go Dawgs!
