Monday Morning Sports

I am sure you are aware the Seattle Seahawks
won on Sunday 31-23 over the Miami Dolphins.
The offense continues to roll and the defense
played a bit better which is an accomplishment
since they have a lot of injuries in the secondary.

The Arizona Cardinals lost their second straight
game in a row after winning their first two games.
They lost to the Carolina Panthers on the road
31-21. The Seahawks go to Arizona on October
25 for their first meeting of the season. Seahawks
have trouble keeping players healthy when they
go down to Arizona. I wonder if Will Dissly
shouldn't play in the game. He was hurt two
years ago along with Earl Thomas. Nothing
has been the same for Earl ever since.

The San Francisco 49ers lost on Sunday Night
football at home 25-20. The 49ers are more
hurt then the Seahawks so hard to know where
they will be at the end of the season. The
Seahawks first meeting against the 49ers will
be on November 1 at home.

The Los Angeles Rams beat the New York
Giants at home 17-9. The Seahawks don't play
the Rams until November 15 in Los Angeles.
The Rams have a bye week  before the game.

The Pac-12 announced what they called their
seven game schedule. It is a misnomer because
the seventh game is actually the title game so
only the division  champions play seven games.
The Washington Huskies take on the Washington
State Cougars on the Friday after Thanksgiving
so not much has changed there.

The Huskies opening game will be against the
California Golden Bears on the road on November
7. We hope the Huskies do better this year. The
Washington State Cougars will be on the road as
well playing the Beavers at Corvallis, Oregon.
We will have to see how long the college football
season will go.

This weekend we heard about the passing of
St. Louis Cardinals pitching great Bob Gibson.
This was only a few weeks after his buddy Lou
Brock had died. Loved watching the Cardinals
back when those two were playing.

Until Wednesday be blessed everyone.
