Lewis on IL

We expected it was going to happen, however,
on Wednesday Seattle Mariner manager says
Kyle Lewis will be starting the season on the
injured list.

Scott Servais wants to be sure Kyle Lewis
will be healthy when he activated to the
roster so he will start the season on the
injured list. This means Taylor Trammell
will be playing in center field for the most
part with Kyle Lewis on the shelf. Jake
Fraley will start in left field. Most likely
Fraley will be center field when someone
else starts in left field.

Other news came out Drew Steckenrider
who had pitched for the Miami Marlins
before being hurt and the Mariners acquired
him during the off-season as a non-roster
invitee has made the roster as the last
pitcher in bullpen. Also, the Mariners are
pushing back James Paxton to pitch in
the fifth game instead of the second game.
Yusei Kikuchi will start in the second game
instead.

News came out for the Seattle Seahawks
wide receiver Tyler Lockett signed a new
contract four years for $69 million with
$37 million being guaranteed. I expect
the Seahawks did this to help this years
salary cap. This may help the Seahawks
sign other players they are still looking
to come on board. Remember linebacker
KJ Wright is still is a free agent. No news
yet whether he will return or not.
