More Roster Moves For Mariners

The Seattle Mariners made some moves
to there roster on Monday before taking
on the LA Dodgers in the evening. The
Mariners crushed the Dodgers 7-3 including
three home runs.

Justus Sheffield had an ok start going four
and two-thirds innings. He gave up two
runs on a home run by former Mariner
Chris Taylor. It has been a good spring
for Taylor who hit his fourth home run
of the spring while hitting .419.

Reliever Yohan Ramirez and infielder
Donovan Walton were sent to alternative
site. This will allow them to be available
soon if necessary. Ramirez only had one
pitching appearance because of Covid.

The Mariners released reliever Gerson
Batista. He missed all of last season. I
hope he is able to hook up with another
team.

Now the Mariners have 48 players still
in camp so almost half players to move
before opening roster on April 1 of 26.

In regards to March Madness it is nice
to see five teams still going in the sweet
sixteen. Gonzaga, USC, Oregon, Oregon
State and UCLA.
