News On Robbie Ray

A good reason  Robbie  Ray  didn't
pitch well on Friday night.  Saturday
morning a MRI revealed a strain
on his left elbow. No wonder he
wasn't  able  to  pitch well.

Ray will not throw  for  the next
couple weeks. He will have to
build his arm back up. He might
miss action for the rest of April.
We will have to see. Make sure
he will be good the rest of the
season.

Chris Flexen  who pitched the last
four innings of the game will start
in his place. Left hander Gabe Speier
was called up to take Ray's spot.
Speier  likely will take Flexen's spot
as the long reliever.

We do hope Robbie  has a steady
recovery and no other starting
pitcher goes down  at least while
he is out.

Logan Gilbert  will start Saturday
night followed  by Marco Gonzales
on Sunday.  George Kirby will start
Monday  night against the  Angels.
Go M's.
