another close call. They do have 5-1
record. Have the had some luck.
They could have had three more
losses or at least two.
The Cougars now take on Hawaii
in an early afternoon game at home.
Hawaii is 2-4 on the season and
are winless on the road in two games.
The Cougars are favored by 19.5 points.
The two teams have played five times
with Hawaii winning three.
Hawaii lost to Boise State at home
last Saturday 28-7. Both teams lost
to Boise State however the Cougars
have shown the better of the two
teams.
Hawaii is averaging 21 points while
giving up 20.3 per game. Not a
comparison since they beat their
two opponents by a large margin
while losing a good margin in several
games as well.
Hawaii pass the ball more frequently than running. They are averaging 266 yards passing while their opponent averaging 193.5 yards a game. Hawaii is averaging 80.5yards rushing while opponent is at
139.3.
The Cougars on the ground they are at
185 yards a game. Their opponent is averaging 166.5 a game. Most likely they won't give up as many yards on the ground in this one. In the air the Cougars are
averaging 277 yards a game while giving
up 280 a game.
The Cougars have only two fumbles on
the season and six interceptions. Hawaii
may pass more in this one especially if
they are behind. Cougars should still
still score at a high level however this
is why they play the game.
