Washington Huskies Men's Fall Short Again

It has been a hard patch for the Huskies men's basketball team
losing to teams in the top 30
in the country and make the
NCAA tournament. We were hoping
for tge Huskies this year however
it doesn't look to happen.

New coach Danny Sprinkle the
Huskies are playing good ball
despite losing. According to most
experts the Huskies don't have
enough physical presence to compete
in the Big Ten this season. This
is something they will need to add
in recruiting and the transfer portal.

For a while the Huskies looked like
they could upset the Oregon Ducks
especially in the first have however
ran out of steam losing 82-71. Again
they were led by Great Osobor in
scoring and rebound. He had 20
points and eight rebounds.

Zoom Diallo continues to be the
future leader of the backcourt
as he had 18 points. Tyler Harris
had 15 points as well being the
third and final player in double
figures. Besides being more
physical the Huskies need more
help out of the backcourt  and
coming off the bench. They have
no consistency in either place.

The Huskies three point shooting
wasn't good making only four out
of twenty-one shots. They  are
improving from the  foul line where
they missed only twice going 15 of
17. In a close game that will really
help.

The Huskies play UCLA at home
on Friday night. This again will
be a tough game. They have eight
days off before playing Minnesota
on February 1. They two have had
a rough patch like the Huskies though
they have won two straight games.
The Huskies have 12 games remaining
on the schedule in the regular season
so they will need to see a much
improved record as well as performance. Though it has been
rough the Huskies future looks
good especially if they can get
more physical. Go Dawgs!
