Seahawks A Surprise Loss To the Bears

Not sure the Seahawks were prepared
Monday evening as they were against the
Chiefs last week.

The Bears showed why they are a good
offense and their defense played well
too.

Sam Darnold was off most of the night
too.  He got a touchdown near the end
of the end of half throwing to Jaxon
Smith-Njigba. They missed the extra point.

The Bears went on a eight minute drive
in the first quarter making it 7-0. The
Seahawks got into the red zone early
in the second quarter however had to
settle for a field goal. They are ranked
30th in red zone.  The Bears kicked
two field goals before the touchdown late
in the first half. Score 13-9 Bears. The
Seahawks all they had to do was play
in the second half but ended up not
happening.

The Bears scored a touchdown on a
run in the third quarter the only score in
the period. Darnold thre another pass
for a touchdown to Cooper Kupp making
it 20-17 lead for the Bears. The  Bears
recovered quickly on another touchdown
to take the lead 27-17.  The Bears stopped
the Seahawks and then scored another
running touchdown and that was the game.
So  close  then became far for the Seahawks.
The Final   Bears 34 Seahawks 17.

D'Andre Swift carried the ball 27 times
for 69 yards however scored the three
rushing touchdowns.  Former Washington
Huskies wide receiver Rome Odunse had
four catches for  87 yards a team high.
He didn't have a touchdown but certainly
helped them get one.

Now the Seahawks are 4-4  so can't
afford not many more losses. Next
Sunday the Seahawks play division
rival Arizona Cardinals at home.
Go Hawks.
