The Mariners first spring training game finally going to happen
Sunday afternoon.
The opening lineup will be close to what it will be for opening season.
Shed Long Jr (added the Jr this season) will start leading off
at second base followed by Evan White at first base.
Kyle Seager, Kyle Lewis (playing right field) and Daniel Vogelbach
batting three thru five.
The rest of the lineup six thru nine is catcher Tom Murphy, ss JP
Crawford, CF Mallex Smith and LF Braden Bishop
Yusei Kikuchi is starting Sunday's game. Marco Gonzales is
expected to start on Monday.
Let you know these guys do along with the other players
who get into the game.
-In basketball the Washington Huskies ended their nine game
losing streak beating the California Golden Bears 87-52
behind some outstanding defense. They take on the Cougars
next Friday night.
The Cougars are home Sunday against the Stanford Cardinal.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs were upset on the road losing to BYU
91-78. We will see where it will put the Bulldogs in the national
ranking and whether they will not be a top seeded team.
