staff on Saturday evening after Fresno State
won the New Mexico Bowl beforehand.
Four coaches and strengthening position
were added to the staff.
William Inge and Chuck Morrell will work
together as co-defensive coordinators. Not
the first time happened at Washington before.
Inge will work with the linebackers as well.
Morrell with the safeties.
Eric Schmidt with be special teams coordinator
well as working with the defensive ends. The
final coach will be Lee Marks who will be
the running back coach. He was the interim
coach for Fresno playing in the New Mexico
Bowl.
The head strengthening coach will be Ron
McKeefery. He not only has experience with
DeBoer he has been strengthening coach
in the NFL and other colleges as well.
So now the Huskies coaching staff is complete.
Six of the eight coaches are all familiar with
DeBoer which will make it an easy transaction.
The Washington Huskies men's basketball team
beat Seattle University on Saturday night after
a three-week layoff with a number of players
and coaches with covid 64-56. The Huskies
got off to a rough start with the layoff being
behind 35-28 at half time. The Huskies defense
turned things around in the second half where
Seattle only scored 21 points.
The Huskies have one remaining non-league
game on Tuesday against Utah Valley. Next
week on Wednesday will be against Washington
State. The rest of their schedule will start in
the new year all against the Pac-12 opponents.
The Cougars won their last game 82-56 on
Saturday as well. They scored 41 points in
each half over North Colorado. The Cougars
had five players score in double digits led
by DJ Rodman with 21 points. He led in
rebounds as well with 10.
The Cougars will take on Boise State at
home this Wednesday before taking on
the Huskies next Wednesday.
Gonzaga beat Texas Tech on Saturday
69-55. They take on Northern Arizona
Monday night at home. They follow up
with Northern Alabama next Tuesday
and finish the year against San Diego

We wish the best for all three teams.
