Seahawks beat Texans

It wasn't a surprise the Seattle Seahawks
beat the Houston Texans, however, the
question wasn't answered until the 4th
quarter.

The Seahawks won 33-13, however,
they were only leading 19-13 heading
into the 4th quarter. The Seahawks
kicked a field goal in the third quarter
though they could have had a touchdown
which would have made it a lot easier.

The three big players in the game were
Russell Wilson, Tyler Lockett and Rashaad
Penny. Russell had his best game since
returning from injury. This means the
Seahawks will be in good shape for their
remaining four games.

The Seahawks have to win all  four games
to have a chance to make the playoffs.
Even if they do win all four games doesn't
mean they will make the playoffs. They
will have a 9-8 record and other teams
will have to lose for them to get in.

Tyler Lockett had a big game having five
catches for 142 yards and a touchdown.
Lockett now is over 1000 yards for the
third straight year. Only one other Seahawk
has done that in his career in hall of famer
Steve Largent.

Rashaad Penny showed us what he can do
when he is healthy. He was the primary
running back as the Seahawks only played
Alex Collins enough to have seven carries.
Penny had 137 yards on sixteen  carries
and two touchdowns. He showed how
explosive he can be when he is healthy.
We hope to see more of Penny in the
remaining four games. For Penny to have
a future in Seattle or elsewhere he has to
stay healthy. We wish him the best.

On the defensive side of the ball the
Seahawks stopped the Texans from
running the ball having only 63 yards.
The Seahawks still need to improve on
the passing defense  as the Texans threw
for over 300 yards. The Seahawks still
do a good job of bend but don't break
but we need to see better.

Even if the Seahawks win the four
remaining games of the season they
will have changes after the season.
Some players won't be back. Next
week they play the Rams. This will
be a hard game for the Seahawks to
win though the Rams haven't been
that great themselves this season.
The Rams take on the Arizona
Monday night so we can do a
scouting report to see where they
are at. Go Hawks!
