take on the Blue Jay's on the road
in Toronto. Don't really really know
the rules but it looks all three games
will be in Toronto. The advantage of
being the number one wild card.
The Blue Jay's are favored which
makes sense since they are playing
at home. They have a better offense,
however, pitching and defense works
in the playoffs.
The Mariners traded and signed Luis
Castillo for this time along with Robbie
Ray as a free agent. This weekend will
be the first step we for many to come.
This is a new season so we see what
happens.
At this point we don't know what the
roster will look like. We expect 11
pitchers and 15 position players. The
Mariners will have three catchers likely
though Cal Raleigh will do most of
the catching. There will be eight starters
including dh plus Raleigh. This means
there will be four bench players.
Three bench players likely to be Dylan
Moore, Abraham Toro and Taylor Trammell.
The question we will find out is who will
be number four.
The infield starting is pretty clear in Ty France
at first, Adam Frazier at second, JP Crawford
at short, and Eugenio Suarez at third. The
outfield should be Jarred Kelenic in left, Julio
Rodriguez in center and Mitch Haniger in right.
Carlos Santana should be the dh.
Let the games begin and see the Mariners go.
The best in Toronto. Go M's.
