be signing Geno Smith to a long term
contract. Of course, it will depend on
how much they offer.
I heard Seahawks analyst Hugh Millen
on KJR FM depends on how much.
Millen said $30 million a year will be
too much. Whether he is worth that
much or not.
According to Millen the Seahawks had
two players over $10 million this last
last season, however, this coming season
they will have seven not counting Geno.
The Seahawks pay Geno $30 million or
more will put a strap on the salary cap.
This means the Seahawks would have
to release at least one other player. Also,
means not as good of a team. If they
signed Geno to $25 million better According
to Millen.
I know that I don't understand the salary cap
other then the amount. The Seahawks could
sign Geno to a five year deal with a good
quarantee. The salary could begin at $25
and end at $30 million.
We will now see in a few days what the Seahawks
actually do. Remember the Seahawks have nine
draft picks coming up right now. At least five of
them will make the team and they will be better
for it. Go Hawks!
