Washington Huskies Blown Outi

The Washington Huskies never  led Saturday in their loss to
Utah 86-61.

Brandon Carlson Utah's center
had 25 points for his third game in a row over 20.

The Huskies shot poorly making 23 of 66 from the field.
Didn't know how to work against the Utes defense.

Keion Brooks led the Huskies
with 17 points and 9 rebounds. The Huskies primarily going with a seven man rotation with PJ Fuller and freshman Koren Johnson coming off the bench.
Fuller was a starter until Noah Williams came back to full strength from his injury.

Good news the Huskies split
the road trip beating Colorado Thursday night. The bad news
they should be playing better
ball. They should be in the top
of the conference. They might
have still lost to Utah but had
a closer game.

What does it mean for Huskies
program? Mike Hopkins needs
to go. Either hire within or go
outside the team.

The Huskies come home to
play Arizona and Arizona this
week. Second playing the. A
split in the series would be good. Did play Arizona well
on their court.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs pulled
out a victory over Pacific 99-90.
The Bulldogs have had a rough
season having many close
games. Sounds like they don't
have as good a team as in past
years.

Drew Time continues having
a great final season at Gonzaga. He led the Bulldogs
with 38 points.

This week Gonzaga plays on Saturday afternoon at Portland. In their last outing on January
L14 the Bulldogs won 115-75.
Expect an easy win.

WSU Cougars take on Colorado Sunday afternoon. They should
be favored in this one.
They will play Arizona night at
home  on Thursday night.
