Washington Huskies Win Gonzaga upset

The three major Washington colleges the Huskies were
the only one to win. They beat
Colorado on their court 75-72.

Not all too news. The Huskies
had a 13 point lead early second half. The Buffaloes got
back into the game by pressing and caused the Huskies turnover the ball 22 times on
the night.

Makes me think the Huskies need better coaching and leadership on the court. Keion
Brooks Jr. led the Huskies with
25 points shooting 9 for 12
from the field. Brooks though
had five turnovers in the second half including stepping out of bounds.

TheHuskies have won three games in a row and tied for seventh in Pac-12.

The WSU Cougars lost to Utah
on their court 77-63. The Cougars primarily lost because
Utah's center Branden Carlson
had a career night with 28. Two more than their next two leading scorers combined.

The Cougars were tied 29-29
when Carlson went off scoring six straight points near the end
of the first half. The Lutes
led at half 39-31. Extended the
lead further in second half.
The Cougars are tied with Huskies while Utah is third place 6-3 behind UCLA who is
undefeated while Arizona State
is 6-2. The Cougars take on
Colorado on Sunday and see
to redeem themselves. The Utes will take on the Huskies
on Saturday.

Gonzaga Bulldogs were upset
at home by Loyola Marymount
68-67. Loyola's win snapped
a 76 game winning streak at home for Gonzaga. Also the
first time winning at Gonzaga
in 32 years. Quite the night.
Guard Cam Shelton made
the winning basket with a
driving layup at 12.5 seconds
remaining in the game. Gonzaga tries to come back
on Saturday at Pacific. Go Zags!
