Marco Gonzales Takes Care of Rangers

Mariners 3 Rangers 1

The Seattle Mariners ended up taking the
series two games to one after losing the
opener on Tuesday night.

Marco Gonzales ended up throwing a
complete game giving up only two hits.
The offense still struggled not scoring
until the fourth inning. Marco's lone run
given up was a homer in the second
inning. The Mariners took the lead in
the fifth inning when JP Crawford hit
home run then Jake Fraley hit one as
well in the seventh inning giving Marco
 more of a cushion.

In all the Mariners had eight hits but
 couldn't score anymore runs. Hopefully
the Mariners will break out against the
Blue Jays. Toronto is one of the top
offenses in the league. The Mariners
pitchers will have to keep the Blue Jays
hitters from hitting too many home runs.

The Mariners are now 61-55 with 46
games remaining. All the Mariners need
to do is win 20 games to have break even
record. They win half the games remaining
they will have 84 wins. It is possible to
win 88 games  however the offense will
have to improve. If Kyle Lewis comes
back that will help. The Mariners need to
find another position player or wait until
 next year.  Go M's.
