The Seattle Seahawks are getting ready to play the Eagles in Philadelphia in the wild card playoff. Seahawks will have to win to continue onto the next round. Good news the New England Patriots lost to the Tenessee Titans so no return to the Super Bowl for them. What will be up next for Tom Brady?
Washington State Cougars beat the UCLA Bruins in men's basketball Saturday 79-71 in overtime. The Cougars had to come from behind being down by nine at halftime. The Cougars had four players in double figures. So they split this week's games losing to USC on Thursday then beating UCLA.
The Washington Huskies take on USC tonight. They will try the same as the Cougars to come back to win against USC after losing to UCLA Thursday night. The Huskies will have to make some changes if they end up losing to USC making the start of the Pac-12 0-2.
This coming week the Huskies and Cougars go to the Bay area to take on Stanford and California. Those two teams played each other on Thursday with Stanford winning 68-52 at home. Both teams get a week off before facing Washington and Washington State.
The Washington Huskies women's team play Stanford on the road this afternoon. The Huskies are 2-0 in Pac-12 play with an overall record of 10-3 while Stanford is 1-0 with 12-1 overall record. The Stanford Cardinal are ranked #5 in the country so the Husky women will have to play their best to win. Go Dawgs!
