Bash Tough Outing

The Seattle Mariners lost their
third game in a row Friday night
8-6.

Rookie Matt Bash had another
tough outing going only two
innings giving up six runs. Bash
will have to see about correcting
things in his next outing or could
be heading to the minor leagues.

If Bash does go to the minors than
we may see George Kirby up to
take his spot. Justus Sheffield
would be the likely one currently
on the major league roster to take
his spot though he hasn't pitched
long in spots.

Mitch Haniger was activated Friday
after two weeks out for covid. Sad news Mitch came down with an ankle
sprain in the second inning coming
out of batter's box. Abraham Toro
had to go in to run for Mitch and take
his spot at dh. We hope Mitch won't
be out too long.

Mariners scored three runs in the
second inning when Luis Torrens
hit a double to drive in all runners
with the bases loaded bases.
Mariners scored three more runs in
the 9th inning but wasn't enough.

Robbie Ray goes Saturday followed
by Logan Gilbert on Sunday. The
Mariners have a good chance to take
the series.

Next post will be later Saturday after
Seahawks picks for round four thru
seven. Also, the Huskies have their
spring game today as well.
