Mariners Win Game 1

The Mariners beat the Toronto 
Blue Jays 3 to 1. 

George Springer hit a home run 
on the very first pitch of the bottom
of the first inning. They only had one 
hit the rest of the way.

Cal Raleigh tied the game in the sixth
inning. Jorge Polanco who was the
player of the game in game five 
against the Tigers drive in second run
in the sixth inning. In the 8th he drove
in the third run to make it more
comfortable.

Bryce Miller  went six innings giving
up the one run, two hits and three 
walks. The bullpen of Speier,  Brash
and Munoz each went an inning
without giving up a hit. 

The Mariners are in the drivers seat.
Game two will be on Monday in
Toronto.  Logan Gilbert will start.
