Washington Huskies Come From Behind

Three quarters of Saturday's game
at Maryland it looked like the Terrapins
we're going to win.  A surprise the
Huskies scored three touchdowns
in the fourth quarter to win 24 -20.

It was 20-0  when the Huskies kicked
a field goal at 3:44 remaining in the
3rd quarter.

The Huskies first touchdown took
nine plays. The first five plays occurred
in the 3rd quarter with the touchdown
happening at 14:23 mark of the 4th
quarter with a three yard pass to Denzel
Boston.

The Huskies defense stopped the
Terrapins on three plays for one yard.
It took the Huskies four plays to score
again.  It took only 1:18 to score going
75 yards.  Receiver Desmen Roebuck
who caught the first pass of the series
caught a 34 yard pass for the touchdown.

The Huskies defense kept putting on
the pressure where Maryland only had
six plays  after a kickoff touchback.
The Huskies started on their own
20 yard line after a punt.   This time the
Huskies went 80 yards on 11 plays.
Jonah Coleman had a one yard touchdown
run after a 11 yard catch he made on
the previous play.

Maryland still has a chance with 3:21
left in the game.  They ran seven plays
including  four incomplete passes
before turning the ball back to the
Huskies. The last pass was 4th and 8
yards to go with  1:43 remaining in
the game.

The Huskies ran out the clock on five
plays. A key play on second down
where quarterback Desmond  Williams Jr.
ran for ten yards to get another first
down. The game ended on third down
when Desmond took a knee.

Washington Huskies are showing they
can be dangerous in the 4th quarter.
The Huskies next game will be home
next Friday at 6 pm against Rutgers.
Go Huskies!
