WSU Cougars Lose Out Again

For the second Saturday in a row
Washington State football almost
had a large upset again.

You look at the stats they were
even. The difference the Cougars
had the ball a little longer.

The Cougars led at halftime 17-7
with a touchdown and field goal
in the second quarter after being
even at 7-7 in the first quarter.

Both teams had field goals in the
third quarter and it was all Virginia
in the 4th quarter.

The Cougars were shutout in the
4th and the defense that was good
for three quarters were unable to
stop a pretty good offense. A field
goal, a touchdown and ending with
a safety allowed the Cavaliers to
win 22-20.

The bright spot the Cougars future
looks bright with a new Pac-12
coming next season. The key will
be the transfer portal and not
losing any key players. The next
two games the Cougars should
win against teams that are less
caliber than Ole Miss and Virginia.
Oh what could have been. Go Cougs!
