favorites over the visiting Cardinals.
It looks like they feel that the reigning
Super Bowl will rebound from Monday's
loss to the Chicago Bears.
Both Cardinals and Seahawks will
be starting different quarterbacks
from the week before. Former WSU
quarterback Gardner Minshew will
be the starter for the Cardinals. They
had benched starter Jacoby Brissett
during last weeks game. During the
week he was traded to the Baltimore
Ravens. The Ravens lost starting QB
Lamar Jackson who was injured to
his thumb and expected to miss the
rest of the season. It will be interesting
since playing the Seahawks there will
be fans who are Seahawks and Cougar
fans at the same time.
News came out on Wednesday afternoon
that Sam Darnold had a crack rib early
on in Monday's game. Make us wonder
if the wonder why he had a poor and
inconsistent game. Now he is week to
week and won't go on the injured list.
Drew Lock will be back at the helm and
he is dealing with a sore elbow. Possibly
the reason he didn't go into Monday's game.
Drew made his first start of the season
in game two against the Cardinals winning
31-7. He threw three three touchdowns
for 235. We hope for about the same
performance.
Currently the Seahawks are 4-4 tied with
the LA Rams. Later in the season the
Rams and Seahawks will play twice. Who
takes the wins if winning both may make
the playoffs and the loser likely out. Tying
will make it real interesting. They always
say it is hard for the Super Bowl Champion
to repeat and right now it looks that here
too. Go Hawks.
