the game with a field goal in the first
quarter. I don't understand why go for
a pass on first down in red zone. They
had run the ball good down the field.
The Littany Lions moved down the field
a lot and scored 12 yard touchdown on
the ground where they could have stopped
the runner. Penn State 7 Washington 3
The Huskies defense gave up a touchdown
for 24 yard pass in the first minute of the
second quarter on third and ten. A miss
assignment for sure. PSU 14 Washington 3.
The Huskies offense continues to flounder
in the second quarter including having to
punt from the end zone allowing Penn State
having good field position in the third time
after the last touchdown. Again the Huskies
defense gave up another touchdown pass
for 45 yards showing their defense not was
expected. PSU 21 3 at 10:03 left on the
first half. This continues to look like it will
be a blow out.
The Huskies were able make a drive down
the field hower Desmond Williams Jr was
sacked on third down so they had to settle
for another field goal. PSU 21 Washington 6.
Penn State this time scored on a 46 yard
run at 2:44 left. No other score to leave this
at half time.
The second half looked much different as
the Littany Lions didn't score one point.
The Huskies made their move. Did PSU
sit on the lead. Maybe.
The Huskies scored another field goal
to begin the third quarter. The Huskies were
able to finally get a touchdown in the red
zone throwing to a tight end. Lawson who
had a great game last week det up with a
catch. PSU 28 Washington 17 after two
point conversation. At 3:55 in the 3rd quarter.
Huskies have a chance. At 7:50 left in the
game Desmond Williams Jr. passed for 6 yard
touchdown. They made another two point
conversation with fancy work.
PSU 28 Washington 25
The Littany Lions were able to hold onto
the ball the rest of the way that included
a long run and a first down after a 4th
and 1. Ran out the clock.
Penn State won though the Huskies had
their opportunities. Both teams are 2-4
in the Big Ten. Not scoring touchdowns
in the red zone and the defense up to
par were the reason.
The Huskies play at Michigan State
next Saturday. Go Dawgs
